With this knowledge, Tini’s Spa Beauty Slimming together with Dermalogica had opened their doors to all women to come and take care of their inner and outer wellbeing. They believe in educating clients about skin health, inner health and wellness towards a better outlook and quality of life.
Professional and Well-trained Therapist
Hartini Binti Halim received early education from Kolej Tunku Kurshiah, Seremban and graduated with Honors Degree in Information Technology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2001. Upon graduating, she worked at Kolej Universiti Teknologi dan Pengurusan Malaysia until 2005. However, passion in health and beauty won over. She went and undergo training as an Aesthetic Therapist (Level 1-3) from The Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) and started Tini Beauty Salon in Section 7, Shah Alam. Hartini has now 11 years knowledge and experience together with numerous certificates of spa, aromatherapy and beauty under her belt.
Tini’s spa started in 2005, when Mr Shah Rizan Bin Ahmad, the husband of Hartini, pushed or rather motivated her to venture into business. She was only 26 years old then. Tini’s spa started with only 1 therapist in their first outlet in Shah Alam. In the early days, it was not an easy feat to find well trained therapists. Determined to push through, Tini’s spa had and still does proper training from time to time and hold tight to their Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) as their guidelines. Within 10 years, Tini’s spa had flourished and opened their second outlet in Ampang, with a solid team of 9 therapists and 2 admin staffs.
Empower Women by Helping Them Achieve Inner and Outer Beauty
Tini’s spa is now a certified learnin
g centre for the National Dual Training System, an industry oriented training program that combines workplace and institutional training. Hartini believes that the system can and will help to produce more skillful youth. She is also a known trainer for mobile spa training to help single mothers, housewives and under-privileged women under Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL), Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor (KPS) and Hijrah Selangor to help enhancing the lives of these women.
Hartini has always believed that women nowadays has too many roles to play. They carry out too many duties and almost always the core of the family. In order to hold these roles, these women needs to be healthy physically and emotionally. Tini’s spa was born from the drive to empower these women by helping them achieve inner and outer beauty. Having healthy and beautiful skin and improved appearances do play wonders to oneself.
With the aim to create skilled workers among Malaysians, Tini’s spa has been reaching out to the community by providing skills training massage therapy, post-natal treatments and facial to housewives and single mothers to earn extra income and create more independent entrepreneurs.
